The Psychedelic Experience – March 3, 2017 – Black History Month Special

I’ve been loved, pushed aside,
I’ve been crushed by tumbling tide
And my soul has been psychedelicized
Now the time has come there are things to realize
Time has come today

While psychedelic rock was dominated by those of a whiter shade of pale in the 60s, rock and roll had its soul psychedelicized thanks to many pioneering African American artists like The Chambers Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, and Arthur Lee. With February just behind us, we wanted to pay tribute to Black History Month with a special podcast only mini-episode of The Psychedelic Experience. Get woke with this funked up and souled out playlist! Stream below or download here.
